MOTOR-DRIVEN ALT-AZIMUTH TELESCOPES
Maser GT
|

The Maser GT is the motorized
version of the Maser N alt-azimuth mount telescope; it has got the
same structure (Serrurier type optical tube, adjustable trusses, etc.),
and is quick and easy to set up as the N version. The presence of two
wheel and worm gears coupling with related motor drives makes the whole
telescope a little heavier; nevertheless the Maser GT keeps the great
versatility of the N version, and is suitable for observatory installation
too. When equipped with a derotator field system it can be used for ccd or photographic imaging.

The Maser GT allows the full
automatic go-to and driving to any night sky object; it makes
this scope good for educational purposes, for less experienced
observers, and for which want get maximum results from an alt-azimuth scope..
