The SUPERMASER is the newest alt-azimuth highly portable telescope;
like for the well known MASER-N, you can appreciate its whole metallic
(steel and aluminium) construction. The SUPERMASER improves a Serrurier
type optical tube, featuring 16 high precision fast clamp truss-poles,
it can be disassembled in three leading parts: top ring, central ring
and bottom cell. The primary mirror cell is the heaviest part of the whole
scope: the 24 inches diameter (Ø 610mm) SUPERMASER bottom cell weights 26.5 kg only!!!
The design and construction of the SUPERMASER mount is similar to which for
the MASER N, but improves foldable capability! Assembling and disassembling
need no screwdrivers or any type of key or tool; all truss-pole clamps are
fast and easy to couple, and reduce the set up needed time within few minutes
(5 to 10 minutes to one person only). Both 20" and 24" SUPERMASER easily fit
into a compact car, and can also be set up/down easily by one person only!!!

All MASER series telescopes are equipped with a robust steel fork
mount that gives them a unique stability. The SUPERMASER series
telescopes are moreover equipped by the foldable steel mount.
This sequence shows the assembling phases of the foldable steel
mount; the fixing knobs stay safely connected to the main structure.
After unfolding, side forks can be fixed at their position by a
half turn of four bar-knobs.

High mechanical stability, unreacheable by any wooden base mount.
Thanks to the original design of the steel alt-azimuth mount, coupled
to a Serrurier optical tube, featuring a doubled (8 + 8) aluminium alloy
truss-pole series, the SUPERMASER telescope does not present any kind of
vibration during focusing, even at higher magnification.
Smooth and precise movements while aiming: thanks to the fine
adjustable frictions, the SUPERMASER allows unequal smooth and sure motions,
far superior to all Dobson design scopes; the put on moving is fluid, with
no back effects or balance issues, even at higher magnification. Everyone
can easily point and follow manually the targeted object, without any difficult.
All moving parts and assemblies are worked under high precision specs,
and mounted on steel ball bearings.
While the optical recollimation is easy to do, its lasting on long times
is excellent. Due to the two fast clamp spherical head of each truss-pole,
the SUPERMASER Newton scopes are specially designed for keeping the perfect
optical collimation after any re-assembling; usually collimation is needed
after several years of service only.
SUPERMASER design presents a very compact size when disassembled, while remaining
easy to reassemble: no keys, screwdrivers or optional tools needed. The 20" and 24" can
be easily transported, reassembled and disassembled by one person only. The high precision
junction system suited to the specially designed fast clamp truss-poles, save any further
fine mechanical and optical regulation time.
The high optical quality of the SUPERMASER is guaranteed by the high accuracy
working of the optical surface, joined to a special design of the primary mirror cell.
All optics are our own made, controlled, tested and certificate by interferometric test.
The metallic construction (steel and aluminium) allows the whole structure a higher
thermal conductivity than common wooden Dobson mounts; this fact allows SUPERMASER
telescopes a faster reaching of environmental temperature. To further shorten the
acclimatization time, the parabolic mirror cell is provided by 3 ventilation round
holes; each one can be suited with electric fan (optional), for shorten the needed time.

Durability and Warranty: due to the whole metallic structure construction,
protected by undercoat plus finishing poliurethane coating, SUPERMASER
telescopes are long last instruments that can be owned by several owners through its life.
The primary mirror coating duration is about 8 to 12 years, under standard
utilization, but a mirror coating work is not too expensive.
